I am a historian specializing in the political culture of the early American republic, so I actually DO know what this country was founded upon, as opposed to the social media warriors and halfwit politicians who routinely make this claim. I don't get enough sleep, non-lethal food or exercise, and this is entirely my fault. If you see me lost on the street, just point me to the nearest bookstore and call my wife to come pick me up. Thanks.
All views expressed on this blog are mine, do you hear, mine MINE MINE! All mine! Mwahahahaha! Any resemblance to the views of my family members, friends and acquaintances is always greatly appreciated but probably more than I could hope for.
You may find these views offensive. This is not my problem.

I now have a dedicated email account, which I think will actually work. I know! Give it a try. Money back if not totally delighted.

A Few Memes of Topical Interest, Presented Without Comment

Thank you, David.
You're welcome!
Among other things, I will never forgive der Sturmtrumper for giving me reason to agree with President Coulter. But she's not wrong...
That was a shocker.

Is calling an idiot idiotic redundant?
I think not ...
(But I have been wrong about such things before.)
Lucy
I tend to think not also.
Calling an idiot idiotic is satisfying. :)
Perhaps we should coin a new word, just for such an occaision:
Gleeifying (Noun)
1. The great delight one derives from referring to an idiotic idiot's idiiotic behaviour.
And Yes, such a word deserves the Properly British English spelling.

Annnnd,
That whole "without comment" is no longer valid, and now needs a proper modifier.
Lucy
I almost always spell behaviour with the British 'u' - it just doesn't look right without it.
Of course I spell 'grey' with the 'e' rather than the 'a' so take that for what it's worth.
I'll go with gleeifying - you can shout it with a great deal of emphasis on the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE part, which is fun when dealing with idiots.
There weren't comments in the original post, so that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
