Nobody ever got hurt by one, other than some severely sprained dignity, but a few chairs were injured in the making of that movie.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03463621516644789183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977625681756554695.post-1542185951614847932011-08-04T10:53:51.240-05:002011-08-04T10:53:51.240-05:00and thus was protected from the occasional bowling...and thus was protected from the occasional bowling ball that would come flying backward when someone lost their grip.

I don't recall ever bowling on your high school team.

I bowl very rarely these days, mainly because I have a delicate little wrist (thanks to a badly pulled tendon in my early 20s - though not pulled due to bowling). But in January I went bowling with my then-boyfriend, making sure to wear my wrist brace.

At one point I actually bowled a strike, so I did a little happy dance. And promptly tore my calf muscle.

Yeah.

Calf is much, much better now - every once in a while I feel a twinge, but that's it. I have to say, though, when I mention to people that I tore my calf muscle earlier in the year and they ask how, it's very amusing to watch the confused dog look when I answer, "Bowling."Carol Elainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06041453807217603422noreply@blogger.com
